12 hours with 12 women artists and 7 women performers

Inspired by the 1970's project Woman House, artists, poets, writers, dancers and performers will take over the live/work space of Lauren Stein in Downtown Toronto. The work will occupy her kitchen, entrance-ways, livingroom, bed and bathroom. Come out to explore the works of these new and emerging artists! As always That's Women's Work is open to all self-identifying women artists.

Free entrance -- cash bar -- pass the hat (to pay performers)

Mountain High River Flow...Without End

Contemporary music and media arts meet Chinese traditions in an interactive animated landscape painting. A Chinese scroll comes alive with layers of animated brush painting, giving a panoramic view of the famous Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) of China. A behind-the-scenes demonstration will feature media artists Dr. Aleksandra Dulic and Kenneth Newby and composers Dorothy Chang and Lan Tung.

The full production will be premiered at 8:00 pm on January 15, 2011 at the Roundhouse Community Art and Recreation Centre, Vancouver.
