Gina Valle’s film, The Last Rite, illustrates how Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists ritualize death. This Couchiching Conversation will feature a screening of the one-hour film, brief remarks by Dr. Valle, and an open discussion to explore participants’ concerns and experiences with this ultimate passage and funeral rites in the Canadian diasporic environment.
