About My Mother (Todo sobre mi madre) is a 1999 Spanish drama film directed by Pedro Almodóvar. The screenplay deals with complex issues such as AIDS, trans lives, sex work, family, faith, and existentialism.

El-Farouk Khaki's "multiple identities"
El-Farouk Khaki is a Canadian refugee and immigration lawyer. He is active on issues such as gender equality, refugee rights, sexual orientation, and progressive Islam.
Khaki formed the first support group for gay and lesbian Muslims in Canada, "Salaam."
He was the New Democratic Party's candidate for the House of Commons in the riding of Toronto Centre in a March 17, 2008 by-election. Khaki came in second with 13.8% of the vote.
