"Romantic Comedy "Not to be missed" on until August 29 in Perth

The ninth-longest running play in Broadway history, "The Voice of the Turtle," is running in Perth until August 29. A timeless romantic comedy from World War II, it focuses on the changing roles for women during the war years and also focuses on sexual double standards in a manner that reads as fresh as if the play were written today. It also captures the feel of the era.

"Now, what I want is facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but facts."

Two of Toronto's most acclaimed independent theatre companies - Puppetmongers (Tea at the Palace, Cinderella in Muddy York) and the night kitchen (Radio: 30, Big Head Goes to Bed) join forces to bring you a savagely funny new adaptation of Dickens' satire of laissez-faire capitalism and Utilitarian political philosophy. Using mask and puppetry, three performers create a world in which the laws of supply and demand are the sole basis of all human interaction.
