It seems that almost everywhere you turn today another government, another media organization, another pundit is worshipping at the altar of "austerity."

Not at rabble.ca. We're an alternative voice. They say austerity, we say abundance. We need an abundance of democracy, an abundance of voices calling for change. We need alternative media to trumpet alternatives. We're asking you to join us in rejecting the austerity agenda by becoming a member of rabble.ca today.

It takes a community to keep community media going. And our community this week involves encouraging words from a dragon, a giving couch, and a no tote bags promise. Please take a listen and share these short (30 sec) promos for rabble.ca's donation drive. We're told they make a good tweet and a nice FB post.

Hey rabble donation drive supporters, now is not the time to be bashful. We are very grateful to everyone that donates to rabble.ca to keep our non-profit, independent media site going.

And you should be proud too. We need you to brag, howl, and shout from rooftops that you contribute to independent media and that together, bit-by-bit, donation-by-donation, news for the rest of us can survive and thrive.
