Here's a question: Can technology change the fundamental nature of story? I ask because a recent publishing experiment by Google suggests it can. I'm skeptical.
In the midst of a Big Data sea, tools that allow the visual display of quantitative information will be an asset to anyone who wants to crowdsource the discovery of the narratives in the numbers.

I never much liked storytelling as a model for Life Itself and this may be a hint that it's due for retirement. In Canada it had a particularly strong run as a model for Canadian culture.
