The application for admission to the United Nations by the Palestinian Authority raises many questions. What does it means for:
- Palestine and the Palestinian people?
- the "peace process"?
- the right of return of Palestinian Refugees?
- the role of the PLO?
- Palestine's international position, and solidarity activists?

This event provides the activist community an opportunity to discuss these and other issues surrounding this event.

The discussion will begin with brief background commentary by:
* Mazen Masri - Faculty 4 Palestine (Toronto)
* Issam Al yamani - Palestinian activist
* Nahla Abdo - Faculty 4 Palestine (Carleton)
