This is the 28th annual Injured Workers' Day. Come show your support and solidarity with injured workers who are demanding to be treated fairly, with respect and dignity, and that injury should not equal poverty. The worker's compensation system is failing those is was designed to protect. More and more workers are falling betwen the cracks, while others are victims of a system that places economics over compassionate care.

Hardworking people who have the misfortune of being the victim of a workplace accident, disablement or disease should not be thrust into poverty, but rather should be fairly compensated. However, Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board continues to fail those who rely on it the most.

We invite you to come join labour, injured workers, and their advocates to rally outside of the Ministry of Labour to demand a fair and just compensation system.

Justice, not poverty, for injured workers.
