Gordon Campbell Hates You

Nice to inject a little humour into our otherwise drab political existence...
A lot of my friends wore Gordon Campbell Hates You buttons during the last election. And my teacher friends wore ones that said "Gordon Campbell hates me".
Campbell in opposition was a relentless Calvinist, ruthless in his hellfire condemnation of those failing his moral standards. Campbell in power had even less time for the weak and misguided who disagreed with his mission. Now, his long-term survival requires more than his obvious contrition. It needs a seismic shift in personality: a display of the same compassion and empathy he's asking of the electorate.
Anyone remember this?
Probably, Aristotleded24, but you never know, maybe people will just find it funny - I mean, it's supposed to be over-the-top, that's the silly that makes it funny.
BTW, I brought the video to the attention of our rabbletv producer and he loved it and has highlighted it.
. . . that statement is so true! the ndp are utterly lame in their role as opposition to the liberals. the liberals and the ndp are acting like an unofficial coalition government. take for instance vancouver's village of the damned fiasco. in an emergency saturday legislature session (adolf hitler too was known for his "saturday surprises" where he'd break down a democratic wall or two and invade a country) the ndp moaned and groaned about how the olympics are fiscally out of control. then they inexplicably voted unanimously along with the libs to deny the vancouver voter their lawful right to vote down financial fiascos like the olympic village. it's my understanding the ndp also went along with the institution of bc's civil forfeiture office, another completely undemocratic liberal atrocity. nonetheless, as pathetic as the ndp are, voting them in is a necessary process to booting gordon campbell out of office . . .

Anybody would be lame if the media dosen't give you the opportunity to address the issues concerning citizens but thats not happening is it. Its more a Lame media than a Lame opposition as you know how Campbell likes to live under the Veil of Secrets and having the opposition spoil that never happen in this one horse town, or better word for the only voice heard is from the same media mogual. How did that happen?
Gordon Campbell Hates You - I seen the guy from the Union with his campaign against the liberals and its good one.
I had to really search out any information on the NDP and their views and stories on how they oppose much of what the Campbell Government is handling things.
And for Campbell his pasty face is all over the news smiling away for all to see as media sucks up to a Government who keeps it in the Green as advertisers silently dictate the Media Headlines. And I imagine under these recessionary blues the only real money the media can really sink its teeth into is the mass advertising of the 2010.
Yes Government is a necessary evil and your right the NDP are not exempt from trying to pull the wool over ones eyes. But something tells me if you let this government know Homey dosen't want to play that game anymore maybe they can see clear to making the process more democratic as they become the ruling party the Liberals the opposition. Now the Liberals they make a great opposition because they will resort to just about anything to bring down the other guy so they will keep the NDP on their toes. And if they are not then they are in Cahoots but I find that very unlikely as the NDP and Liberals have little incommon in their visions for the futures of BC residents. As the Liberals are looking after a few and the NDP want to look after the lot. And I think with this Olympic thing everyone is pretty much stuck as no voting it away as its a done deal and the province has handed over a blank cheque to get the job done and so it will Be no matter what the cost. And there is no voting it away.
How about P3's because those are a cess pool of secrets and no public should wants its government turning over their valuable resources unconditionaly. Buy direct don't need no middle man. Can I have your house or business to borrow on, as looking to make money and this way I can lease it back to you and make a profit and we all win, right? And if I need more money because of the unexpected cost well you will just have to take my word for it, thats part of the deal. Actually I will take all the houses and business I can get especially those that are fully paid for. I like those.
What are the differences in the leaders:
Cambpell is out of touch with the public as he surrounds himself with the rich and powerful. What do the rich want? A better world for the average guy? Or a world where they have it all and have made slaves out of the masses as they struggle to work to buy a loaf of bread. His party members are heavily involved in the communties creating inequality and unfairness while almost abloshing all human rights. 6 months?
Carole James is in touch with the public as its were she spends her time educating herself by finding out directly from citizens whats important to them and where they feel her parties focus is needed. And the NDP party members are also active in the community as many become heavily envolved in the causualties which there seems an endless supply as the Olympics makes a sport of the poor.
Campbell got in because of the media pursuit of a corrupt NDP, as they rush in on former premier's home over something which was more poor judgement than any real wrong doings. He was later cleared. Campbell got in and since that time despite all the dirty dealing that have been going on in this province the best we can get is another front page cover with a smiling premier as alls well in the Campbell Land. I just put horns and blackened out all his teeth for fun on one of Cambpell's front page pictures as thats the most I am going to get out of Canwest Media as its more entertainment than informative.
Poor unassumming Gordo's feelings are hurt by these 'personal attacks' according to CBC.
I'm less concerned about Gordo's feelings than those of the people his policies have hurt, but maybe that's just me.
. . . war crimes tribunals are likely in the cards for gordon campbell and his cohorts . . .
