yo can somebody really explain to me why girls my age are wanting babies? Like not no accidentdal shit but wanting to be baby mamaz n shit. Yall know what Im talking about if u dont plz DO NOT come here and derail this.
I already have a idea of who could proly give me a str8 answer and u know I jus wanna know cuz Im the one dealing with this shit so.. yea
like adding onwus craccin with that. I had girls talking to me bout they wanna have my baby or bringing up babies wit that look in their eye. Like girls saying to each other how they would be a better baby mama then them.
Where that come from cuzz like me n bare manz my age we dont even want no relationship b n girls my age want babies.
Like u dont even see girls who 18-20 or bit older on that tip that u talk to n yet girls who 15 16 want kids? Yo does anybody know how in a 2 year difference makes that? Or is it just who ur talking to and itz all around that stupidness.

Hey Rexdale_Punjabi, not sure if you meant me, but I wanted to share what I know about your question.
Some background info. For about 5 years when I was in my 20s I worked in a group home for young women. They were from many different backgrounds and circumstances, including CAS, had been living on the streets, from psychiatric institutions, or from their family home.
A number of them talked about how great it would be to be pregnant, and talked to us, the staff, fairly openly about what their reasons were.
Because they were "in love" with some guy, and he would then be forever needing to pay them attention
Because a baby will give them unconditional love
Because they needed to feel useful and needed
Because it would be a way to be a grown up and be taken seriously
I'm sure there were more reasons that I don't remember. And while each young woman did sincerely believe whatever it was about getting pregnant, it was all based in not helpful stuff from the media, their friends (no internet back then lol) and of course, their boyfriends. Some boyfriends used the line of "I want you to get pregnant, we can be a family" in order to urge the young women to have sex with them. It was very discouraging to say the least.
And all this despite the fact that for some of them their own mothers had become pregnant and had begun having babies at age 16 or 17, and knowing how hard it is to grow up with a single mom, given the lack of supports that are out there, including affordable housing and access to education. What the young women I worked with all had in common was a need to be loved, and a need to be loved for who they were. One of the most significant parts of my job was to help them build internal resources and strength. What are their interests, what do they like doing that's not about boys or sex but about them? I'd say this is a journey that most women, young or otherwise, need to do, for all of our lives.
Rexdale, there's no simple answer to your question. The world out there leaves very few options for young women (and young men of course) regarding how to think of themselves as strong, kind and compassionate people, and how to interact with the world on such terms, including relationships, but not only that.
So at the ground level what we did was talk about SAFE SEX and BIRTH CONTROL at the very least. Getting pleasure from sex, not just giving it, was another. Building self-esteem and all the other parts I mentioned took usually far more time than we had to be with them.
And on the personal side, as someone who used to be a teenaged girl, although I never wanted to have a baby, I was very much wanting and needing that "male gaze" and attention on me, to validate me. Lucky for me I was a nerd in school, I guess. And then I found feminism.

Stop having sex with 15 and 16 years olds then, as popular culture and hormones are fueling the fire, and when combined with a lack of frontal lobe growth, you get children wanting to have children, withoput any concept of what it will actually mean to their lives.
