I was more shocked at the attacks on susi, who met the girl briefly, did not put her into that situation, and is not the one of many who have kept her there for as long as they did.

  I am shocked that not one governmental socalled "helping" dept like social services, a doctor (cuz what 10-12 year old is able to escape a visit to a doctor or hospital), a teacher or school official (see my last comment), a neighbour, a relative, any of the many people who look at street workers and sneer, complain or call the police to try to get them moved out of their neighbourhood.  And really I could go on and on listing off the people who see this girl every day, once a week or on some regular basis. 

That anyone would choose to attack susi for not knowing quite what to do is pretty shocking.

And let us reflect for a moment that all this happened WITH the current laws that criminalize all of this.   So, again, tell me how these laws should remain in place when they are so obviously useless.
