I'm curious why she's getting $736. BC Disability is supposed to pay $900. Also, if this is a long-term disability, she should be eligible for CPP Disability and her student loans should be cancelled in their entirety. When I was very ill in the late 1980s, my doctor wrote to the student loans program and said I didn't have a hope in hell of repaying them and that their letters, etc. were exacerbating my condition (which they certainly were). They saw the wisdom of that and forgave them. Of course, things have changed since the 80s.
