Very interesting to hear of union/co-op collaborations in North America.  If popularized it could become the basis for a popular alternative-economics model in North America.  Much to learn from syndicalist and guild socialist history perhaps.  Gotta be very careful trying to run failing capitalist enterprises though (see pamphlet, 'Lip and the Self-Managed Counter-Revolution').
