As Canadians, I think criticizing Israel is the only room we have available since we cannot stop our conservative government from supporting the killings of women and children in Gaza by the Israeli army. If they decide to take that away from us, we will be turned into Taliban-like society. Israel by all accounts has committed crimes against humanity when targeted civilians and used banned and chemical weapons against children. Therefore, it is our duty as Canadians, including Jewish Canadians, to actively shed lights on this issue and not just criticize Israel, until our government reverses policy
