#97 I sincerely hope that Canadians win at least one gold medal on home soil in the 2010 Olympics. It is so disheartening that despite hosting both a Summer and Winter Olympics, a gold medal has yet to be won on home soil. Having earned a respectable seven gold medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, it seems that Canadians can earn at least that many - if not more - in 2010 thanks to better athlete funding such as Own the Podium.
