Thanks for this, Murray Dobbin. I love your book, The Myth of the Good Corporate Citizen. It helped nurture my awareness of neoliberalism and neoconservatism. Clearly, Harper is a supporter of both - wanting to promote the military-industrial complex as part of the scheme to bankrupt the state and replace it with for-profit private entities.
