Jaku, I'm just indicating to others here the irony: You and B'nai Brith jump up and down at the anti-semitic incidents in Canada - which pale into insignificance by comparison with (say) attacks on indigenous people, women, pick your marginalized group - while you both ardently defend the real racist arch-criminals, the Israeli regime, against every hint of criticism. Maybe you didn't get the Sderot - Gaza comparison, but shutting one's eyes tight and stumbling through the ethical pathways of life can have that effect.
Unionist, I have never "jump(ed) up and down" at anti-Semitic incidents here in canada. Perhaps you have mistaken me for Frnak Dimant but I assure you sir I am not in that league.
And I have noted in the past and will repeat, the Israeli occupation of the WB must end. I am heartsick at the treatment of palestinians in what seems a neverending crisis. However I continue to support Israel's right to exist as a jewish state while being critical of policies I find distasteful and at times even abhorent.
And I was beginning to think a tad hyperbolical calling a segment of babblers rabid and intolerant for their deranged response to having the term apartheid in IAW called into question.

BTW, has anyone cross-referenced IP addresses between the offending site with Cheri DiNovo's? I'll bet they are one and the same. DiNovo was so intent on proving that incendiary language such as apartheid is not the most ethical and compassionate approach to achieving justice, that she orchestrated a diversion from the wonderfully successful and accommodating "dialogue" happening across campuses this week. She insinuated fear and trepidation where none existed before. Jews fearful and trepidatious at York? Perish the thought. That's almost as ridiculous as CUPE3903 members afraid to speak at variance with the Stalinist wing of the union at a general membership meeting.
Although there is a way for IAW essentialists to spin this in their favour: old school scapegoating. You see the reluctance to diverge with the opinion of IAW orthodoxy has nothing to do with the event itself. The intimidation and fear stems squarely from this one psychopathic anti-Semite.

Open apologists of the former South African apartheid system, defenders of everyday systemic forms of oppression in this country, and those who excuse and support violent colonialism in other places traditionally have been ushered to the exits here. Can anyone explain the lenient standard applied in terms of the level of tolerance for hate against Palestinians and support for tyranny against them in threads of this nature? What any sensible person can clearly define as brutal oppression apparently is a matter of debate and merely comes down to ones point of view.
Instead of isolating them from meaningful dialogue as the pariahs they are, spitting distain without regret through the act of expelling their reprehensible excuses and ideology from a community which speaks of valuing human decency over the monstrosity that these interlopers pathetically represent, they are continuously permitted to assault reason, honesty, justice, and dignity with every fetid post that documents not only their shame, but our own in not calling for their immediate removal whenever they rear their ugly heads on this board.

I'm a civil libertarian -- I'm opposed to our silly hate laws. I believe that incitement is a crime (if a judgement call), and if there is evidence of incitement that can be taken to court, then so it should be.
Loyalty oath? Give me a break. I would gather that few if any would ever have a problem prosecuting someone who calls for the mass murder of a people. Im asking more about the process
