babble is rabble.ca's discussion board but it's much more than that: it's an online community for folks who just won't shut up. It's a place to tell each other — and the world — what's up with our work and campaigns.
It's still unacceptable to call someone a dickwad ...
Frankly, I'd rather be called a dickwad than be accused of being "anti-union" and attacking "organizations of working people." You guys have really lost moral compass. That is what started this issue. I didn't suddenly come out and call someone a dickwad. First, I was personally attacked for "attacking organizations of the working people" and being "anti-union."
But yeah, why don't you keep defending yourselves on the basis of formal norms of "polite" conversation, while allowing yourselves the right to personally slander people in polite terms. The fact that accusing someone of being "anti-union" doesn't register for you as a personal insult doesn't even register for you says as much about the state of the NDP Babble caucus, as I could in a thousand words of posts.
By the way, I officially apologized for using the term "dickwad" but yeah, carrying on being irrelevant. It suits you.
How about its still unacceptable to accuse someone of being "anti-union", when they have said nothing of the kind?
Looks like I'm there with you Cue. Seems as if using "he/she/it" on the Rogers troll offended Lou Arab. Who knew offensive, twisted trolls who mocked someone's loss were to be defended?
What is a dickwad? I know...google is my friend. Personally I haven't used that word but I have heard guys call each other that.

The young John Connor taught The Terminator how to use that expression. True.
I always thought that it was related to the tissue paper receptical for the aforementioned substance, E. Tamaran.
Maybe it has different meanings in different places.

Is there a link for context in this thread? I feel kinda lost.

Okay everyone, fun's over.
