Hello, I'd just like to introduce myself.
I've read this message board on and off for a few years, and this spring I started reading it regularly as a good source of news and commentary on news.
I live in east vancouver, but I've lived most of my life in or around ottawa.
Most of my activism has been around queer issues, a bit of shop stewarding, and the rights of immigrants/migrant workers.
I'm a big reader and I love graphic novels, manga, as well as all kinds of history books, especially about communist régimes, decolonization, governments, espionage, etc. :)

Hi Scot, welcome to babble! I live in East Van too, as do a few other babblers. There are also a bunch of graphic novel lovers--check out the Book Lounge for some interesting threads.
