Sorry, catchfire, didn't mean to belabor the confrontation involving the other two.  I have trouble letting it stand when verbal bullying is occurring, and that got the better of me this time.

Yes, but from whence do the house of Hanover/Gotha Saxe-Coburg/Windsor/Battenburg and whatever other "family name" they go by, derive their title, position, powers, rights, priviledges, entitlements, etc.?

Mrs. Battenburg derives her authority from an Act of the English Parliament in 1702 when the said English Parliament chose her anscestor, Sophia of Hanover, as heiress presumptive ahead of a significant number of individuals with senior hereditary claims.

Are not identical.

Arguments and people are not the same thing.

I hope you haven't suspended Malcolm for his recent post.

I don't like to come across as an asshole on this but, if you have (suspended Malcolm)

then Malcolm and I have grounds to take this to someone higher at babble to seek redress.

Make no mistake, that was (at the very least) a questionable call on your part.

I have no doubt that you feel that way, Frmrsldr. I see it differently. Feel free to email editor@rabble.ca.

Closing for uselessness. Congratulations.
