Occupy Wall Street is a “leaderless resistance movement” spearheaded by the edgy Adbusters magazine, which in July issued a call for the Sept. 17 occupation of Wall Street.

Can we pull this off here? Why not...Bay Street is waiting for us.

I know it's against babble policy to question whether the vicious empire may have been involved in the Avena-rab Spravening, as in NEIN! NEIN! NEIN! But I thought this is an interesting piece published recently in a well known capitalist newz rag:

NY Times wrote:
A number of the groups and individuals directly involved in the revolts and reforms sweeping the region, including the April 6 Youth Movement in Egypt, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and grass-roots activists like Entsar Qadhi, a youth leader in Yemen, received training and financing from groups like the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute and Freedom House, a nonprofit human rights organization based in Washington, according to interviews in recent weeks and American diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks.

Yup, none of those CIA shell agencies receive any funding or shadow gov influence from the U.S. Government. NOT ONE THIN DIME!

This is their version of glasnost. They allow some truth to "trickle-down" to the sheep every so often where it's read by a few lefties and democracy watchers in general.

The curious thing here is Bahrain, and if they overstepped in that instance.  Where was the motive?

But what has changed in Bahrain since the hunger strikers struck and pro-democracy protesters were mowed down by Bahrain's troops with Saudi assistance? Destabilization efforts by the Anglo-American empire can not possibly be so specific as to cause social unrest in certain countries and not others nearby where the West supports brutal military dictatorships. There has been much change in oil-rich Libya but not the western supported Bahrain where basic human rights violations occur daily. We should not be so surprised by the blatant and wanton  hypocrisy. It's been happening for a long time.

They have supported militant Islam for a long time and well before the onset of "blowback". It's not blowback when they continue aiding and abetting and fomenting the spread of religious fundamentalism.

The CIA and its western cohorts in crime are synonymous with dirty tricks campaigns and dirty war in general. So let's not wonder too much as to why a bunch of treacherous mafia-like shadow government people would do what they do. These are highly intelligent mad men and sociopaths. They are not like you and me or most people we know. Their ways and means and motives are different than our's. Some lefties and anti-war activists, American and Canadian, have stated what they believe the Gladio Gang has been up to in the Middle East and Africa, Central Asia etc. And I believe they are telling the truth. Someone has to.

The West once accused the former Soviet Union of striving toward world domination. The real truth of the matter is now revealed for all the world to see.

The glasnost is a demitasse.

My guess is that the same type of situation must apply to the manufactured European banker crisis vis-à-vis its trans-oceanic implications. The situation is dire they tell us, and rightfully so lets be clear about that. Governments must quickly fall in line, with all pressure being exerted to that end by way of international conference, backroom dealing and an intense corporate media campaign lambasting Europe over the crisis; lest the shock waves of an implosion set up to go off at certain points over there resonate everywhere.  There is no other imaginable option for them, other than the major players simply have to be bought on board, which of course they already are and have been all along its certain. We have to be ever mindful however; that being on board is quite different than there being a grand plan in any of this. There is an out of control fire in the engine room aboard a ship commanded and officered by fools.

Well, at any rate, just because the NY bleedin Times are now opening up about [for what one has to assume as being for the benefit of its coke bottle thick eyewear readers] what others have previously described as the obvious, it doesn't imply carte blanche here ya know.

Yes it was surely "blowback" for Euro bankers and their Wall Street counterparts demanding blood in Europe. Their financial WMD bit them on their asses as if by "surprise" attack. Or at least, it's what they've managed to convince the ovis aries of us as they quench thirst from the babbling brook of western government bs. Vampire squid Goldman's proxy debt instruments in Europe which were once with them have since turned against them and their wealthy Euro friends, like a son goes against the father. It's like Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for bankers and deep state intelligence agencies alike. And now the workers will have to pay again and this time for a financial 9/11 of sorts. Invisible hand ideology isn't very convincing when it comes to either financial gladio or the other kind. At some point we have to consider that the thundering nitwits in shadow government and banking are not actually thundering nitwits at all but calculating, megalomaniacal sociopaths who tend to always prosper by their alleged "mistakes."

Or it could be that all bought and paid-for politicians are entirely innocent pathological liars duped into overreacting militarily and geostrategically along established cold war era patterns by those swarthy foreigners who can't be trusted to not switch job descriptions from that of CIA assets, violent misogynist-terrorists and even rabid anticommunists in the 1980s and 90s to their newer FBI profiles for being pious Muslim champions of social justice in solidarnosc with fellow Islamists in Gaza and the West bank who preferred living with pink-haired lap dancers and drinking hard liquor by 9/11/01 - all offensive to Allah and guaranteed to get one banned from Heaven according to Muslim scholars. It's a strange breed of proletariat, we know. Stranger things have happened before, I suppose.

They say that the truth typically lies in the middle ground somewhere between the greyness and blackness of it. And so it might be that the truth can be found somewhere between what those suffering from Stockholm syndrome say about it and the ongoing Gladio end of things. The truth about banksters and Murder Inc is boiled down to three possibilities: 1. Elmer Fudds/masters of the universe are too stupid to live, or 2. LIHOP, or 3. MIHOP. Personally I think the reality of it is a combination of too stupid to live bankers and war planning departmentalists making things happen accidentally on purpose if you can believe that.

The glasnosters themselves used to read the NY Times to find out what was actually happening in the former USSR. And journalists in the former USSR would ask western politicos how our lapdog news agencies could all be coerced to publish the same versions of the same news stories. The Sovs confessed that they had to resort to threatening their news reporters in order to achieve similar results.

Гласности все еще наполовину полон.

US Funded 'Activist' Becomes President of Tunisia

http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/2011/12/us-funded-activist-becomes-pre...

"...Tunisia's new 'president' Moncef Marzouki, a veteran Western collaborator whose last two decades of political activity has been supported and subsidized by the US government and US corporate financier-funded foundations.."

Surely it's another case of wild coincidence at work here. So he's a US-funded activist and President of Tunisia? Okay, but that could mean anything under the sun in addition to what you're prolly thinking - ie. the wild assumption that some random nuclear-armed group of financially and militarily aligned Western nations might be interfering a little in Africa long time.

So what? yawn

The Washington 'Moderate Islam' Alliance: Containing Rebellion Defending Empire  -  by James Petras

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article29956.htm

"Moderate' Islamists have become the Empire's 'contraceptive of choice' against any chance the massive Arab peoples' revolt might give birth to substantive, egalitarian social changes and bringing those brutal pro-western officials responsible for so many crimes against humanity to justice.."

I see what Petras is getting at with moderate Islamists. But that wasn't the case in 1980s and 90s Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bosnia etc.

And the U.K. listed Libya's LIFG as a terrorist group with ties to al-Qaeda as recently as June of this year. Does Petras categorize LIFG and Qaeda as moderates? They are terrorizing Libyans today and promising to create an Islamic fundamentalist emirate in North Africa thanks to France, U.K. the U.S., and their imperialist friends in Saudi Arabia.

And the Brits and CIA have supported the Brotherhood in Egypt since the 1940s and 50s. Are they moderates, too?

Egypt: US-funded Agitators on Trial: US "Democracy Promotion" = Foreign-funded Sedition

Tony Cartalucci wrote:
Far from Egyptian Paranoia - Documented US Meddling in Egypt

In January of 2011, we were told that "spontaneous," "indigenous" uprising had begun sweeping North Africa and the Middle East, including Hosni Mubarak's Egypt, in what was hailed as the "Arab Spring." It would be almost four months before the corporate-media would admit that the US had been behind the uprisings and that they were anything but "spontaneous," or "indigenous." In an April 2011 article published by the New York Times titled, "U.S. Groups Helped Nurture Arab Uprisings," it was stated (emphasis added):

"A number of the groups and individuals directly involved in the revolts and reforms sweeping the region, including the April 6 Youth Movement in Egypt, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and grass-roots activists like Entsar Qadhi, a youth leader in Yemen, received training and financing from groups like the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute and Freedom House, a nonprofit human rights organization based in Washington."
The article would also add, regarding the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED):

"The Republican and Democratic institutes are loosely affiliated with the Republican and Democratic Parties. They were created by Congress and are financed through the National Endowment for Democracy, which was set up in 1983 to channel grants for promoting democracy in developing nations. The National Endowment receives about $100 million annually from Congress. Freedom House also gets the bulk of its money from the American government, mainly from the State Department. "

It is not the CIA and their dirty tricks campaigns - it's direct U.S. Government meddling!
