babble is rabble.ca's discussion board but it's much more than that: it's an online community for folks who just won't shut up. It's a place to tell each other — and the world — what's up with our work and campaigns.
Despite leading in the polls Mulcair has been unable to translate this into electoral success. Harper still presides over the Government of Canada. Mulcair has had his opportunity and clearly been found wanting. It's time to replace him. So who do babblers think are the most likely candidates and it what order will they be ranking them on their preferential ballot?

I'm all for a snap election at this point. I don't think herr Harper is, though. Sadly it is Bay Street that would not give Steve the nod for a snap election. Not a snowball's chance.

No, 2015 is a reference to the date of the next general election in Canada. References have been made above to Harper still being in power on various dates. I have no clue why Caissa thinks that posting cryptic messages or doing anything else might remove Harper from power any time sooner than the date next federal election. That's all I'm commenting on...
This place is rife with Mulcair apologists. The ubiquitous Mulcair will be PM in 2015 threads attest to this fact.
Wait your serious? That's hilarious.
You think Mulcair should resign because he hasn't what, beaten a majority government in a confidence motion? For his sake I'm glad Topp didn't want if that's what you expected him to manage.
Stepehen Colbert you're not, Since he doesn't actually support a conservative agenda, you're just (apparently) exagerating your own resentments against Mulcair rather than engaging in any serious criticism.

Lorne Nystrom. He's due.
Dwain Lingenfelter

Suggestion: close this useless thread.

The ghost of J.S. Woodsworth.
Groucho Marx, he has the right name!

In 10 years, I can see myself enthusiastically supporting Ruth Ellen for leader. She's had a brilliant year.
How about a promotion for Darrel Dexter?
Darrell Dexter is having fun right where he is, Ken.
Next leader?
Rebecca Blakie, Nikki Ashton, or Megan Leslie?
Tough to choose between three great people.
Another Monday arrives at Harper is still in power. When will the ineffectual Mulcair resign and let someone else have a shot at unseating Harper.
oh, are we having a leadership race in 2015? Okay, we better start analyzing who the best leader will be.

And over the opposition as well, judging by their flattering mimicry.

Somebody mentioned hilarious?
I suppose the greatest compliment satire can receive is to be taken at face value.

I follow Swift rather than sloth.
True, Caissa, but just remember...
Satire, Irony, and Rhetoric are three different things.
Just like...
Small minds speak of other people,
Large minds talk about concepts,
Big minds discuss ideas.
Got any ideas?
Satire, Irony, or Rhetoric?
I miss the NDP leadership threads.
This thread has become satirically rhetorical, ironically.
Caissa, stop hating Mulcair. That's an order.
