Shimon Peres Is A War Criminal...

http://www.thecommentfactory.com/shimon-peres-is-a-war-criminal-and-his-...

"It is no exaggeration to say Mr Peres' contributions to the Zionist project in Palestine or the sufferings of the Palestinians and Arabs have not stopped since the Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in 1947-1949...Questioning the dedication of Peres to the Zionist project in Palestine - all Palestine - does not stand as an option when we listen to the man's statements echoing the racist evil nature of Zionism."

Baird Declares Canada To Be Israel's Best Friend

http://blogs.canada.com/2012/05/06/baird-declares-canada-to-be-israels-b...

"This just in from Washington, where Foreign Minister John Baird addresses the American Jewish Committee on Thursday. This comes a few days before Israeli President Shimon Peres arrives in Canada for a five-day visit.

'Canada's pro-Israel position, he said, was a matter of principle, based on the values of 'freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law,' that Canada shares with Israel and the US.'

A spokesperson for Baird tells CBC News, the Israeli president's visit 'comes at a time when relations between Israel and Canada are strong and getting stronger. Peres, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, will be in Canada for a five-day visit which will make stops in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.

The Israeli President will also meet privately with the leader of the Official Opposition Thomas Mulcair and interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae."

He's a war criminal.  And you knew perfectly well that nobody here would disagree with that.

I knew no such thing. Nor did it enter into any of my deliberations. But some people buy the press release version, never forgot 'Exodus' and after all he is a Nobel Peace Laureate for goodness sakes. And it wasn't that long ago that Brian Topp was singing the praises of that bone-smashing monster Yitzhak Rabin, so no-telling what nonsense people hereabouts may believe. Let's see what sweet-nothings, 'ardent supporter of Israel in all situations and circumstances' Thomas Mulcair has to sing about the old Hagganah horror.

Letter From the Widow of Major Paeta Hess von Kruederer

http://www.cbc.ca/news/interactives/letters/peacekeepers/

"Hello, my name is Cynthia Hess von Kruederer - I'm the window of Major Paeta Hess von Kruederer. My husband was killed along with 3 fellow Peacekeepers during the Israeli bombing of the UN Patrol Base Khaim, in southern Lebanon on July 25, 2006...

I direct your attention to Paragraph 72, indicating that the Israeli Defense Force has clearly accpted responsibility for the incident that killed by husband and his colleagues.

Just so we're clear, 'the incident' refers to the 500 lb. precision guided bomb that was dropped on the UN bunker containing my husband and his fellow peace keepers; who were unarmed and serving the world community in the pursuit of peace.

The IDF has attributed the targeting and subsequent attack to an operational error, but offer no explanation of how that error occurred.

Further in paragraph 72, we find that the IDF acknowledges receiving multiple protests regarding their artillery rounds hitting the post. They even acknowledge communication from the UN Force Commander stating:

'You are killing my people' - and yet; the IDF fail to explain why the J-DAM Bomb was NOT halted...

There are questions unanswered..."

and shall remain so, because the right questions won't even be asked.

"Here again I would like to thank the Socialist International. For us it was not necessarily the place where we have had our weddings, but the place where we started our love. And in politics, maybe you need as much love as weddings. I hope that this organization will remain an organization full of love.."

"I had already gone beyond this ceremony to the next step; how to build a new Middle East...The accord in Oslo and the ceremony in Washington were but a stepping stone from which to leap, higher and farther than ever before."

"As a Jew, may I say that the essence of our history since the time of Abraham and the Commandments of Moses, has been an uncompromising opposition to any form of occupation, domination, discrimination."   Shimon Peres

EWWWWWWW...........

(and this from the guy who deserted and then worked to crush the Israeli Labor Party, Israel's official representative TO the SI, just because it dared to elect a Mizrahi as leader instead of returning him to the job, a job at which Peres had always been incompetent in electoral terms, more or less blowing EVERY election he ever led Labor through).

Was the title rhetorical? I find the phraseology of the second choice offensive especially given the noun that usually follows "Dirty" in comparable pejoratives.

The noun is as stated: 'Zionist'. You can imagine any other you wish, but to suggest that as my intention would be a dirty lie. And as far as Zionist war criminals go, they don't come much dirtier than Shimon Peres..or are you yourself a Zionist/sympathizer? (Perhaps it's an NDP thing)

'Dirty' works for me - as a polite stand-in for descriptives that more closely express my fondness for colonizing, murderous filth like Mr.Peres. What the fuck is with all this quibbling of late over goddamned motherfucking descriptives anyway? They're polemical terms used to describe REAL EVENTS like MURDER and STARVATION and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.  Fuck Zionism, fuck Zionists and fuck all the useful idiots who can't see the forest for the trees.

Quite fucking small.

If someone called Obama an "uppity liberal," would that have no racial connotations? NDPP, I don't doubt your intent, but I'm a bit upset at your inflammatory and provocative response to the observation that there is a rhetorical linkage between Zionist and the frequent co-occurent of "dirty." These discussions aren't irrelevant, no matter how much you wish them to be so, or wish that you have personal sovereignty over the use and meaning of each word in the English language.

I'm not asking you to change the title or stop using "dirty" where you wish, but he fact that you immediately opened another thread using the phrase "dirty Zionist" after someone commented on it strikes me as not only baiting, but petty and mean-spirited.  Your lashing out at Caissa with a personal attack rather supports this analysis. This is a commmunity discussion board, not the NDPP church bulletin.

'Baiting', 'Petty' 'Mean-Spirited', 'inflammatory', 'provocative'? Incoming from others not outgoing from me. Where's  'Aunty Semity' today?  This is purely about selecting exactly the right adjective for the appropriate noun. And insisting upon that appropriateness in the face of the usual attempted interference by the usual defenders. Actually a  frequent co-occurent, especially among the adherents of the pernicious history and ideology concerned, which is far more relevent to what is being attempted here,  is 'DIRTY ARABS'.

Speaking of which, perhaps all Cons, Libs, Dippers or Zios will email their pols about the atrocious prison conditions this FILTHY ZIONIST (better?)  WAR CRIMINAL'S GANGSTER GOVERNMENT continues to perpetrate upon the true Indigenous owners of their stolen fatherland. How many dual citizen beneficiaries of dual genocides here and there are there I wonder? So send an email. It's the least you can do.

I find it mildly amusing how the Harper government likes to smear opposition parties for alledgedly being 'soft' on Hitler and then with the same breath they welcome Zionazis with open arms.

I'd have a nice big belly laugh about it if it wasn't so pathetic.

Even though Zionists have formally and publicly allied themselves with Nazis, right here in TO too,  we're not allowed to call them that Alan, it's part of their impunity entitlement -  god'll get you for that...

There's no economic justification to see anything changed with respect to the Palestinian situation.  The Arab nations which might figure into the equation of a just solution are run by dictators and kings on friendly terms with those who call the shots economically, with the energy resources continuing to flow on the one hand, and stability achieved through brutality against the respective populations on the other.  There are however people on both sides of the wire and walls, who to one excessive degree or another, are forced to experience the same powerlessness that anything substantial will ever be done.  The power of wealth and greed is quite universal in its appeal and ruthlessness.

Israel President Shimon Peres Lauds Canada ' Never indifferent, Never Neutral'

http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/politics/article/1174197--stephen-har...

"...The President appears likely to get more friendly hearings during his Canadian tour. He was to meet interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae later Monday and New Democrat Thomas Mulcair, the leader of the Official Opposition, on Tuesday.

Both Mulcair and Rae are among the most stoutly pro-Israel leaders of their respective parties - if not the most - in many years..."
