What's up with EnMasse being down?

Sorry babble for using your site to try and fix our site. :)

In case it's not clear, all EnMassistas are welcome to use this thread and the rest of babble for site-specific concerns for as long as they need. If you like (and I think this is even kind of happening already) we can declare this thread sovereign EnMasse territory a la Holland circa. World War 2.

Taking sides eh?

Y'all, y'all.

I doubt it, because the site's hosting (the expensive part) is still up and running. Domain registration, OTOH, is so cheap that people are inclined to, well, register something for six years and then forget about it.

Alright, I spoke with a friend at Tucows and explained the situation. He's temporarily lifted the renewal hold on enMasse for me, so the site should be restored for all within a few hours (give or take for local DNS caching), at which point it may be easier to contact steve. However, someone will still need to renew it within 40 days from April 28th, by contacting netfirms.com. Hope this helps.

It's down again; has been all day. I'm not at my home computer so I haven't tried the fix yet, but it is down.

The fix was working earlier today, but you're right - I'm on an "unfixed" computer right now, and it's down. Not good.

I was just able to log on to En Masse. I'm at an internet cafe, which I doubt has any special thingamajigs on its computer.

Very strange. I just tried another unfixed computer, and the site is definitely down. What are you drinking at that cafe?

Water, and these little cups of coffee they sell in vending machines for the rough equivalent of thirty cents. Total gutrot.

I was able to get to the site, log on, and post something on the Alberta election thread, and then log out. However, I just tried logging on again, and it didn't work.

So, seems to be rather touch and go.
