You may think you are more effective going out with a bang than sticking around. I do not, and I'd advise you to reconsider.
There are already enough times when this place resembles a room full of people with their backs turned to each other. It doesn't accomplish a damned thing, IMO.
If you feel you need to step out, fine, but I'm not sure what I have to do with it. I have nothing against you, and I have done nothing to you, and I think a good reading of that thread you cite will bear that out.
Anyway, here's hoping you you will return after a well-needed break.

Yes and the truth is that Puerto Rico has no representation in US Government. It's a poverty stricken, unincorporated territory of the U.S. where US Government has interfered politically and clandestinely in the recent past. The genocidal colonial policies have caused a large percentage of Puerto Ricans to emigrate to the mainland and "melt-in" with the American speaking population.
You're just a pro-imperialist kiss-ass, Bachus. You should give up your provincial health card and move to Puerto Rico if you think it's so wonderful. This is your big chance - don't be a hypocrite.

I understand the need for respectful language but I do find the moderators sometimes lean too much towards suppressing debate by bouncing people out. I believe the left is always well served by a vigorous debate.
Not surprised to find Canadians that may from afar find Puerto Rican sub-satellite status congenial, and USA will also be voting again this November - for syphilis or gonhorrea..

While your sentiment is noble, NDPP, it is misplaced. No one has been banned.
whatever you call it I think you should stop it. It''s used far too often and the effects are toxic and distinctly oppressive.
Well, I will never stop trying to ensure that babble is as free of oppressive language and dynamics as possible, and I will certainly not stop it because a vocal and boastful few threaten to leave.
Questioning is fine, RP. And I know you do it from a good place (although I would appreciate it if you wouldn't make it personal against other babblers). NDPP wants to adopt the kind of model they have at Reddit and other places. I don't.

I hope I am not the only one who finds it surreal that babblers are attacking each other over . . . Puerto Rico? Couldn't you manage to fight over St. Pierre and Miquelon, if you must be absurd over islands?
