TICKET GIVEAWAY! Voices Forward Festival in Toronto THIS WEEKEND.

Michelle

rabble.ca has four pairs of tickets to give away for Voices Forward Festival movies. THIS WEEKEND.

Check out their web site here.

Two pairs of tickets are for "Goal Dreams" and two pairs are for "Bridge Over The Wadi".

The first four people to send me a private message get the tickets. Please do not e-mail me. I'm doing it by private message to ensure that I know who was first, and to ensure that it's a babbler who gets the tickets. Let me know which movie you'd prefer to see (but if you're third or fourth, you might not get the movie of your choice, as dibs go to whomever writes first). If you have no preference, that's fine too.

GO!

Hello? Is this thing on? FREE TICKETS, dudz!

Michelle

Seriously? No takers? These look like fantastic movies on the Middle East - one is about a school experiment where Jewish and Arab parents in Israel decide to have half Jewish and half Arab kids at the school, and work together on educating the kids about peace, as well as their usual studies.

The other one is about the Palestinian Football Association, "a soccer team without a recognized homeland, no permanent domestic league, no place to train and with players and coaches scattered around the globe rises in the international rankings of modern football."

Voices Forward is "Film and Culture about people from Israel and Palestine". If I didn't have my little one with me this weekend, I'd be scooping at least a couple of the tickets.

Clearly, all the cool people will be in Halifax this weekend, participating in these festivities.

Whoa.

Well, I'm not sure how the Voices Forward Festival thought they were going to be able to compete with THAT, clearly!
