Whether it's sports, academics, beauty pageants, or VH1's [url=http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/i_know_my_kids_a_star/series.jhtml]I know My Kid's A Star[/url]" - I get concerned when adults pressure children to achieve for the parents' financial gain, emotional gratification, and for their status.
I love my child for who they are, not because I think my child is a [url=http://www.aetv.com/psychic-kids/]psychic[/url], or has ESP, is good at math, or is a great composer.
I certainly am not interested in exploiting the personality, the traits, or unique characteristics of my child; and I am not interested in producers, advertisers, networks, and the "psychic" adult celebrities, in profiting from exploiting children.

No kidding! What a repulsive show. Get out there and pimp your adorable child! Get them into a lifestyle that is almost fully guaranteed to fuck 'em up for life! And win $$$!!!
Danny Bonaduce is the host, apparently. I can't imagine wanting to expose my children to drug-addled nutjobs, regardless whether they have a childhood claim to fame.
Psychic Kids looks like a horribly exploitive show, too. If adults want to get up and hoodwink people, fine, they've probably got their reasons. But when a parent is having their child do something like this, there's usually a lot of pressure on the kid -- unfair pressure.
