Divided we fall, who are the harper liberals?

Hitler got help from wishy washy people on his way to complete control.  In his own party, they quickly and brutally shown the path.  But others tried to "reason" with him. You cannot reason with that type of person.  I believe those that try to appease Harper, the GG, probably iggy, and a host of partizan liberals are so self important that they cannot see the creature that they are dealing with.

I pray for a coalition, even if it only lasts a week, it will have destroyed harper. 

Harper is one of those random events that can destroy weak cowardly democracys. 

I hope that the parliament stays the course and gets rid of the brute.  Within a week the conservatives can have a normal leader and we can get back to boring but safe.

We are very close to dictatorship. Harper will not stop until he is kicked out of politics.

Please get rid of him while we still can.

I keep thinking that's the wrong question, Brian.  What we should be thinking about, and acting on, is, "Who are the Coalition Conservatives."  Get one or two to quit the Conservatives and sit as independents while expressing support for the coalition, or get a bunch of them to start their own party, and Harper is cooked.

The ones that come to mind, at least for me, are Michael Chong, Inky Mark, and the Maritime and Quebec caucuses.  If there's a weak link, it's in there someplace.

Nevermind those you got the prentice and baird caucus coming along just fine as it stands. The cons may be in for a liberal style bloodbath after the dust settles from this harper cockup.

Prentice and Baird will line up behind Harper in public though, thorin_bane.  You'll notice that they've disavowed any knowledge of the web sites promoting them.  

 

We need some people to break ranks publicly.

No I agree, But one small crack is all it will take for the whole thing to wash away. The said on the house that they all have sooo much respect for harper, I woud say fear is a better word. They are like beatten dogs. Just waiting for the opportunity to bite, but fearing retaliation. That might be why some good MPs(relative term) languish in the back. Punishment for not be pro harper enough. D Ablonzy(sp) is one of their smartest MPs and she is a junior minister. She is also one of the longest sitting MPs for them.  That would be like us winning and giving Bill Blaikie the ministry of sports.
