Don't mess up your relationship with Facebook!

This is hilarious.

My favorite part: "We're 'complicated' now?  We're 'complicated'?  No, no, no, let me tell you what's 'complicated'..."

:D :D

Ha! Funny!

"Why don't you comment on my status? I say some funny things! I do! Please comment. And tell your friends to comment."

Also:

"Is she the one you've been poking all day?"

Laughing

It's almost enough to make me delete my FB account. Or is it deactivate?

Ha ha. I'm changing my status to ... IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A LOSER! AHAhaha!

Here's another ...

What's complicated? I tell you what's complicated. Your mama borrowing $20 every week. I feel like I got her on the payroll.

Stephen Gordon

Never mind.

Coyote

also never-minding.

What happened?

Coyote

Two unrelated incidents. Check for the latest. I had considered posting in both threads then decided against.

The earlier was a comment from Stephen to which I responded. After his edit, g my post was nonsensical. So I edited too.

I called a girlfriend one day cuz I noticed her other half was now single and I thought she might want to get together for a drink of something.  Apparently I was the first to tell her for cryinginthesink.

So, if you ARE going to break up via facebook, don't just try it on for a while first.

Sheeeeeesh.

Coyote

oh that SUCKS.

Michelle

Oh man, Polly, that DOES suck.  Well, it's a good thing you were there for her.  And hey, someone had to tell her.  Wasn't she on Facebook?

Anyhow, it IS interesting, how much you can track what the other person is doing if they use FB compulsively, even if you're not really the type to want to know every second of the day what your partner is doing.  (I'm definitely not that type.)

FB is interesting because I find I keep in closer contact with people I otherwise wouldn't, like certain family members, etc.  So that's nice.  But the side effects of realizing, oh, okay, if I post that, then so-and-so will know I'm doing x or not doing x, can be a bit stifling. :)

Ya but she's one of those people - you know, with A LIFE, who doesn't obsessively check for updates lol.  So she hadn't been on for a few days and her insignificant other was back in his home town "visiting the folks".

Creep.

.....(on the funny side, she knew his series of passwords.  we drank a few margaritas that night, and she changed a few things for him, including his password.  As far as I know, it's still like that).  :)

Michelle

Ha! :D

As an aside, I have no idea why people give their significant others their passwords.  Like, seriously?  I don't give ANYONE my passwords to anything!

I've read that Canadian hockey scouts now use social networking sites to checkout the personal lives of aspiring athletes and new recruits.

Quote:
And in its equally interesting privacy policy: "Facebook may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other users of the Facebook service through the operation of the service (eg. photo tags) in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalised experience. By using Facebook, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States."

That last part is a bit misleading. A great deal of the world's internet traffic passes through and routed through internet servers located in the the U.S. Global Internet Map And US telcos are now working with US federal agencies to basically spy on the lives of Americans. Not that I have anything to hide, I just choose not to Facebook.

I've been slipping lately.   I gave my significant other the password to my wifi router ;)

On second thought...that's probably okay...because now it's "our" wifi router ;)
