I have few family that has kids now just start grade 7 in senior school and they will only hang around people of their own kind because they think other religions are bad and that they are committing sin.
How can a person like me that sees them with little influence tell them that its okay to be close to people not the same religion as them. Some where born in Pakistan , Dubai or Canada.
If i say something wrong, its me the lone voice against the rest of family and friends and then they think I am suggesting their/our religion is wrong and will kick me out of their house and maybe even get violent with me.
So the dilemma is...how do i tell them that other religions are normal people too without them taking it as me saying their religion is not true because they percieve (and their imam) and own readings suggest that others are inferior...should i just ignore then and hope when they get older they learn more? they are all 12-13
