But these lyrics?

I like Led Zeppelin, yet find Robert Plant embarrassing. The only thing offensive by them is how they ripped off people such as Willie Dixon (Whole Lotta Love), Sonny Boy Williamson (Bring it on Home) and Josh White (In My Time of Dyin' - best Led Zep song of them all).
I love Led Zepplin, and I love 'Dazed and Confused.'

Except for the fact that those songs were not likely composed completely or even primarily by the artists you name. Many of the blues tunes like folk tunes are Traditional songs with a multitude of different verses and choruses. My hero with that stuff was Utah Philips. He recorded many songs that people like Roy Rogers claimed as there own work and was willing to go to court and prove that song existed long before the person like Roy who claimed ownership was even born. I don't think the tunes themselves should belong to any one artist. Now the actual performance and record of the performance absolutely.
As for bad lyrics I used to like a very long time ago I think Walking After Midnight takes the prize. I loved k.d.'s version in her reincarnation of Patsy phase. Then I realized that song was written by a man. I think it defines stalking behaviour.

It was written by two men, but written to be sung by a woman - Kay Starr and then, of course, Patsy Cline. In any event, I don't think it's about stalking. I think it's about being lovesick and heartbroken. I realize there can be a fine line between the two, but in the context of the song, I think it's pretty obvious which side of the fence it falls on. I think the song could even be about heartsickness at the death of a lover.

I'm not sure if this counts.
I love beyonce as a singer. She seems to have a lot of spirit and stikes me as a powerful woman with confidence.
I just watched the latest video she made with lady Gaga [ telephone] and I wanted to hit myself with a frying pan. I can't believe she was a part of that whole debacle. Watch the "telephone" video on youtube and you'll see what I mean.
