Playboy said yesterday that Hefner wants to take the company private, and offered to purchase the shares he doesn't already own in Playboy, which includes the namesake men's magazine, merchandise, and television and video content.

Hefner plans to offer $5.50 apiece in cash for the Class A and Class B shares, Chicago-based Playboy said in a statement. Hefner, 84, is partnering with Rizvi Traverse Management LLC for the transaction. The offer, at a premium of more than 30 percent, values Playboy at about $185 million.

Given the mispelling of "chauvanist" [sic] I see where "pig would be easier to put in thread titles.Wink

Perhaps someone will fix it for me. Sadly, the article I linked to didn't include any sexy pics of Pam Anderson marked up like a pig ready for slaughter.

Caissa

I thought that picture was a parody of a beef cow. 'll have to check next time I visit our butcher.

I see you provided us with a bunny instead.

You didn't just call Pam Anderson cow did you? That would be dehumanizing "opressive language". But what the hell! Those terms don't mean anything anyway, so I guess people can just pretty much say whatever!

Caissa

I suggested the parody was of a cow (my guess) as opposed to a pig (your guess). I suppose a butcher could arbitarate.

I'll take your question as being a rhetorical device to set up the rest of your post since it was clear I was calling a picture a parody.

I thought it was a picture of Pamela Anderson.

I guess you see what you want see.
