"Join us for a Chinese Banquet (to retire Brian Topp's campaign debt)"

Dear friends we have fixed the links of the previous email,

Mark your calendar! We are writing to invite you to a very special evening with federal leader Tom Mulcair, former party president Brian Topp, and Olivia Chow, MP.

The NDP is on the march across Canada. Our work this fall is about taking on the Conservatives in Parliament, building our party in communities across Canada, and uniting our federal team so we are ready for an election whenever it comes.

This will be a first for federal leader Tom Mulcair – his first Chinese banquet in Toronto, joined by former party president Brian Topp (runner-up in the recent leadership election) and Olivia Chow.

Can Tom and Brian handle chopsticks? Do they tell good after-dinner jokes? Find out this and more by joining us at this fabulous Peking Duck Chinese Banquet!

All proceeds will be donated to retire Brian Topp’s campaign loan – part of our party’s commitment to clear the deck and then focus on the next federal election so together we can defeat Stephen Harper.

Why doesn't Pat Martin organise his own defense fund dinner? I'm sure he would be able to get two or three people to attend.

Must be nice to be a politician in Canada. Does not matter which party that belong to, they are all part of the 1%.
