This thread title is false, as is the headline of the blog post on which it is based. Let's try reading for meaning, shall we?
The CBC said, this could potentially end up in litigation.
Which is a boilerplate puffery statement on how bad things are. It is most definitely not, and not meant to be taken as, a statement of intent to litigate.

I had asked the mods to correct the title to make it, um, true, but I defer to your superior suggestion. There's no news here, even when corrected.
ETA: Oh, I should add that Lacroix's letter is actually quite interesting and educational (to me anyway), and thanks to Brachina for bringing it to our attention!
