Which doesn't answer the question.  What do they want with respect to Wilson?  Does he deserve to have the evidence heard and someone make a decision as to whether or not to charge him based on that evidence?  Or do they just want him convicted regardless of the facts of the case?

The "social goal" is one thing but that's a separate matter from the Ferguson case.  

Either Wilson is guilty or he isn't and whether or not he should be charged and tried is dependent on the evidence.  The only thing that would have sastified the protesters with respect to Ferguson would be to see the grand jury indict Wilson and then have him found guilty at trial.

Now the one that shot a black guy in walmart for having a air rifle , from fucking walmarts own shelves. That would be an excellent case for a trial

I'd rather the bingo card be called "conservative/right winger bingo" as opposed to "white opinions bingo", because not all white people feel that way about the Ferguson issue and there are PoC (usually conservatives) who echo those sentiments, too. 

The "bad stuff happening to a white person story" spot kind of hits a nerve for me, because these anecdotes are some how used to justify the labeling of an entire race in a negative light despite being just that, circumstantial evidence.  I also think the concept of thinly veiled racism goes over the head of certain right-leaning whites, I can see this when they make complaints about stuff like "how they can't say anything about black people or else they will be considered racist", because a lot of the so-called criticism they want to make about PoCs are based on incorrect information or stats taken out of context and are racist.  The allegations of the rioting in Ferguson being a sign of black people being prone to such events is an example of this, just because someone isn't dropping n-bombs doesn't mean it isn't racist.

All I've ever said is that the people screaming for "Justice for Michael Brown" want one thing and one thing only.  They want to see Wilson indicted and when he goes to trial they want him found guilty.  Fact is, they don't care about the evidence.  All they want is a conviction.  Kind of reminds me of the old Westerns I watched on TV as a kid.  "You'll get a fair trial.  Then hung."

Dorchester middle-school students protest 

Students in the upper grades at the Joseph Lee K-8 School in Dorchester held a two-hour Black Lives Matter protest this morning.

Kids who'd brought in permission slips walked from the school to the intersection of Blue Hill and Talbot avenues, where they chanted slogans such as "Hands up! Don't Shoot!" and "What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? Now!"

Several teachers stood with them; three BPD cruisers and officers were parked on Blue Hill Avenue. Many passing motorists honked in support.

Here's a memo that was sent to students:

"We, the students and the staff of the Joseph Lee School are planning a demonstration to support and increase awareness that ALL lives matter, inspired by the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and so many more. We need not only the voices of our youth but the support of the adults to protest against the unjust police brutality, inequality, and racial profiling taking place across the nation as well as right here in our community. We not only want the support from YOU but the support from your family, too. These injustices based on race have been happening our whole lives. If the majority of our society have accepted same sex marriage, why can’t we come together as a community to address racial inequalities?

This demonstration is a serious matter that effects our entire community. Just think, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown could have been a student at this school ... or could even have been you.

The school has given us permission to not wear school uniforms on the 16th. Please wear all black attire to demonstrate unity. Remember that it is going to be cold!! Dress warm."

Black America enters 2015 on a radically different political trajectory than could have been imagined prior to August 9. When the youth of Ferguson stood up to the militarized police to demand justice for Michael Brown, they challenged not only the legitimacy of the coercive organs of the State, but also the fitness for leadership of the accommodationist Black political class.

Although many of the young activists may not have been aware that they were crossing a kind of Rubicon, the threat that “Ferguson” represented to the post-Sixties order was immediately evident to the Black misleaders that have colluded with the mass incarceration regime for the past two generations. Instinctively drawn to the service of Power, and determined to protect the legacy of the Black icon in the White House, the collaborating Black classes moved quickly to limit Ferguson-related demands to those that were politically palatable to the president, such as body-cameras for cops, and to divert the nascent movement away from confrontation with the State and its police.

It soon became obvious that the Al Sharptons of the community were attempting to isolate the core Ferguson activists and prevent the coalescing of a youth-led national Black movement – especially one that might act in concert with non-Blacks in the remnants of the anti-war and Occupy movements.

The size, political content and momentum of the movement-in-the-making has caused the ground to shift beneath the Black misleaders’ feet. “Black Lives Matter” means all Black lives, not just the privileged minority that was catapulted into leadership by the demise of legal apartheid half a century ago and has pursued its own selfish class interests, ever since. “I Can’t Breathe” is a cry from those whose hopes and dreams have been put on permanent lockdown by a police and penal system that is specially designed to strangle Black liberationist aspirations, yet operates at full throttle in the nominally Black-controlled cities of the nation under the maintenance and protection of Black Democrats....
