Another thing the BC NDP might want to consider is having their candidates be represetative of the population of BC.
That means having at least 50% female candidates, as well as many visible minority and First Nations candidates.
Where are our Philippino-Canadian, Chinese-Canadian, Indo-Canadian, Vietnamese-Canadian, and First Nations candidates?
The top brass of the BC NDP need to be forced out by the party rank and file, and the party needs a full refresh before the next election.
They are by far and away the worst provincial arm of the NDP, and they are completely out of touch with the electorate and their supporters. It's past time to get do some younger, fresher faces running that party.
It will probably be more than one election before the BCNDP hits rock bottom and pulls itself together. Horgan is a decent leader (though hardly a Notley), but he's too associated with the fetid institutional bureaucracy of the party.
People still don't have an inkling how much damage was done in the last election. It all depends on the LNGs. If even one of them goes ahead, you might as well kiss the BC NDP goodbye as they will be done like dinner.
