 I read on a voice for men that some people used to take Qaluudes to enhance they're orgasm, I wonder if Bill Cosby took any himself. I don't know if Bill sexually assaulted anyone, or not, although its not looking good for him, but at this point its a safe bet he's a stoner, which makes his antidrugs messaging hypocritical.

 I don't know why people rely on booze and party drugs to enhance sex, the brain is the only dealer you need, aside from medical issues.

In any case,the man is guilty but thanks to the statute of limitations he'll walk away. What will be left of his career and reputation is another story.

Both are shot through I would think.  We would also have to assume that perhaps some of his co-stars from the Cosby Show who were previously receiving royalties from now cancelled syndication deals are consulting their own lawyers.

Not completely clear.  At least one of the women is arguing that the statute should start running from the date that she realized that her problems resulted from his actions.

More recently, there were a series of court documents that were unsealed and revealed a dark side to the Cos.  Rather than spending his time bouncing kids on his knee and eating Jell-O brand pudding, this Bill was involved in illegal drugs and illicit sex, fornication, and perhaps more.

I’ve done a lot of thinking over these weeks.  The good Bill has done over the years is real and enduring.  I am not prepared to simply dismiss his brilliance, his wisdom, or his legacy.  You see, all of that is a part of who I am as a man – as a Black man.  I am not going to toss all of that away, at least not yet. It seems to me that one should be able to look with sober eyes and yet hold on to those elements of substance that are both true and comforting.

That is the truth that people refuse to believe and that makes it so difficult to believe women who have been abused. Great guys that everyone loves sexually abuse women and children. Most of them aren't monsters. They walk amongst us, sit in our classrooms, work with us, treat us for illnesses, marry us. The only way to be sure you won't be raped is to never be alone with a man. The only way to avoid coming into contact with rapists is to stay away from men, practically impossible to do if you leave your home. I don't definitely come into contact with bank robbers when I take public transportation. I definitely come into contact with rapists every time I take public transit or go to a grocery store.

What’s not as well known is that the same study also surveyed thousands of college men, asking them about if they had ever forced a woman to have sex against her will. It seems to me that they way this question is phrased, it doesn’t exclude coercive intercourse with a girlfriend (or spouse!).

It would seem to me that to get a meaningful ratio of rape victims, one would need to put “holding down your reluctant girlfriend” into a different category than “rape of/by someone that you don’t have an ongoing sexual relationship with”.

Many rapists don't even think they are rapists. A more recent study cites 6% of men.

 A study published in 2002 by David Lisak and Paul Miller, for which they interviewed college men about their sexual histories, found that only about 6 percent of the men surveyed had attempted or successfully raped someone. While some of them only tried once, most of the rapists were repeat offenders, with each committing an average of 5.8 rapes apiece.

Campus sexual assault has received less attention from researchers outside the U.S.. Studies that have examined sexual assault experiences among college students in western countries other than the U.S. have found results similar to those found by American researchers. A 1993 study of a nationally representative sample of Canadian College students found that 28% of women had experienced some form of sexual assault in the preceding year, and 45% of women had experienced some form of sexual assault since entering college.[16] A 1991 study of 347 undergraduates in New Zealand found that 25.3% had experienced rape or attempted rape, and 51.6% had experienced some form of sexual victimization.[17] A 2014 study of students in Great Britain found that 25% of women had experienced some type of sexual assault while attending university and 7% of women had experienced rape or attempted rape as college students.[18]
