Why hasn't the NDP cut all ties with Hill & Knowlton yet?

Bad enough that H & K did the ads for the Cons AND the Libs while they were doing the NDP ads(how is it that nobody at party HQ saw a problem with that)but why would the NDP ever even consider letting the people who lost them over fifty seats?

What could there possibly be to still like?

I am curious Ken, what evidence is there that H&K did the "Liberal Ads."

Its obvious they stickhandled the Cons and the NDP for the last few elections, but less so with Liberals. Do you have links or anything?

Worked for..... its unclear if he has returned since "stepping down" to run Tom's stuff in the last election.

There are few hacks in the upper echelon's of hackdom that have not done time and or a tour of duty for the H&K mercernaries.

Although Liberal connections are somewhat difficult to discern.

That said, Lavigne is probably somehow working with his old band in Alberta, Topp and McGrath if he has not been welcomed back into the bossom of H&K. The great thing about driving the NDP into the ground is the same folks are often rewarded with high paying jobs.

It was surprising that Anne McGrath was hired by Notley so soon after mismanging the Federal NDP campaign last October.

Or not so surprising, as the case may be.

Perhaps the same thing happens in all parties -- people blow an election campaign but are excused for it and welcomed back, no questions asked.

No one is saying people who work losing campaigns need to be banished or anything of the sort, there would be few left in the NDP if that was the case.

What people are saying is that the total of your contribution should be considered when placing these hacks in key roles and that most certainly if one works for H&K and the like or partners with operatives from the oppossing parties, its probably not a good idea to have them running the campaign.
