The idea being that any of us are six degrees or less in separation from anyone else on the planet.

So I tried it out with me and Donald Trump- four steps of friends or family gets me to him.

I picked Vladamir Putin for another thought experiment. But I do not know that I know any Russians, or anyone that 'traffics' with Russians... so that doesnt get very far.

I have 3 degrees of seperation to Obama. I recently had a colonoscopy which supports the notion that I may have one degree of seperation from Trump.

For many Canadians, I suspect that Brian Mulroney is the key link in this chain.

If Mulroney knows Trump who knows Putin, then I am only three degrees of separation from Trump and four from Putin.
