Socially Responsible Investing: Best Options

I've been taking most of my savings out of TD because of their investments in the Keystone and Dakota pipelines. Via a local credit union, I've put them into Ocean Rock's Meritas portfolio, which I was assured is a socially responsible investment. However, I've been questioning whether this has actually changed much. When I look at the portfolio's profile (https://www.qtrade.ca/orFundProfilesOV.do?value.fundType=102#), it looks like the #1 equity holding is... TD! Otherwise, they seem to be largely invested in big banks and resource corporations. (Or am I misunderstanding what "equity holding" means? I'm pretty naive about business and economics.) On their "about RI" page (https://www.qtrade.ca/oceanrock/aboutsri/sri_components.jsp), they are vague about how 'positive screening' works. 'Shareholder engagement' is OK as far as it goes. They apply 'negative screening' to avoid investing in certain things but tbh some of those things, like "alcohol production" and "gambling", concern me much less than oil pipelines. Does someone who understands this better know more about whether Ocean Rock is reliable for this? If not, is there a better option?
