Just sayin’
Significance of Saskatchewan federal NDP in today’s world highly over-rated
I was just thinking: "Why is NorthReport opening so few new random threads these days?" Thanks for reading my mind.
Saskatchewan’s recent insignificant federal NDP election results
2015 all of 3 seats
2011 zero seats
2008 zero seats
From a recent report by the International Institute for the Assessment of the World Significance of Provincial Parties:
The extensive meta-survey covering the years 2015-2018 leaves little doubt that the significance of the Saskatchwan federal NDP in today's world has been drastically under-rated. In the words of one noted expert: "The fate of the world is intimately bound up with the fortunes of the federal NDP in Saskatchewan."
If your premise is that the “significance” of a province to the NDP is the number of NDP MPs it elects, you may find later this fall that eight out of ten provinces are no longer very “significant”. But perhaps rather than considering the “significance” of a province to the NDP you should consider the NDP’s “significance” as a political player to the province. If current polling trends continue the NDP will not be that “significant” of a political force at all outside of a handful of seats perhaps in B.C. and Southwest and northern Ontario.
And to make things even worse those pathetic Saskatchewanites don’t love Starbucks like we do here in upper-Cascadia!
And an opposing point of view, or something: http://rabble.ca/babble/canadian-politics/significance-todays-world-sask...
Hopefully the federal NDP doesn’t contribute anything to these Saskatchewan losers in the next federal election
Hopefully the federal NDP doesn’t contribute anything to these Saskatchewan losers in the next federal election
So where do you see all the "winners" who are deserving of contributions from the federal NDP?
The significance of the federal NDP in today’s world is highly overrated.

Horrible amount of dividiveness here isn't there Ken. What's the root cause in your opinion and what can be done, or could have been done to prevent it?
NDP vote percentage, 2015 election:
BC 26%
Quebec 24%
Sask 24%
NL 21%
All other provinces: less than 20%
I used to love watching that thing
