Assuming there are Chinese from China scoping out Témiscamingue farmland just in case the federal law is changed and they are allowed to buy land how would that be predatory?
As far as I know there is no federal law banning the sale of agricultural land to foreign investors, there are provincial laws in certain Canadian provinces including Quebec which prevent sales to non residents.
