The story posted at #13 is something of a revelation to me. Careful reading of it shows that there is more evidence for the "republican conspiracy theory" than against it. I am not at all confident that Risen is/was able to know Biden's intentions in Ukraine, and all the central facts of the matter are not in dispute. I am starting to seriously doubt the Democrat's strategic sense. Why impeach over this, when it so obviously allows a counterattack on Biden and a rehashing of the US role in the colour revolutions during Obama's terms? Are there not better issues to try to impeach on? Perhaps the Democrats are relying on a shared understanding with the Republicans that the true nature of the US role in the Ukraine should not be discussed publicly because they are all up to their necks in dirty laundry.

Did the country a favor! Perhaps there are more favors to come. And it's an old MSM trick to present the stated intentions of governments or politicians as obviously true. Statements of intent are not evidence, and coming from politicians and governments, they are less than nothing.
