Is it going to be possible, in this last weekend, for NPD candidates-I'm using the French acronym there even though I'm posting in English seeking to hang on in Quebec ridings against BQ challengers, or to make themselves the party people voting against Equipe' Trudeau would switch to instead of the BQ-to gain votes by saying "look, if you vote for me, I'm going to be part of a solid anti-Scheer parliamentary alliance; a BQ MP from this riding most likely won't be able to do that. Nothing can be worse for Quebec than a Con government, and voting NPD is the only way to punish Trudeau AND stop Scheer"?

I don't think the urgency is there, Ken. The NDP won in 2011 because, in spite of Quebec's best efforts voting for the Bloc, Harper still remained as PM. They took a chance on voting NDP to stop Harper, unfortunately the rest of the country did not join in. That same sentiment was present in 2015 when they switched to the Liberals for the same reason. Since then, the Liberal brand has soured on such things as SNC Lavalin. This time, since the polls point to a minority government, there is no urgency to stop anyone. Probably the best thing in this environment is to send as many BQ MPs to Parliament as possible to use the situation to get the best possible deal for Quebec.
