bread machine paddles fall out

- egg, flour and water paste, honey
- roughen the shaft with sandpaper?
Havn't tried either of these, never had this problem, good luck.
I do not currently use the machine but I used it over a long period with the paddles stuck on and unable to budge them. Seemed not to damage the machine or the process.
Perhaps oat porrage would do this sticking well.
Oat porrage is really gooey and burns easily.
Make your porrage from cracked oats, strain off some of the gooey liquid and coat the shaft with it when it is cool. Then put on the paddles. The bread cooking process might weld the porrige glue into place. Let us know if you try it and if it works.
