The first two days of the convergence against the 2010 Olympics included a peoples summit with educational panels, in-depth discussions and lots of free tasty food. 

Indigenous resistance and the 2010 Olympics was one of the more heavily attended discussions as indigenous activists, artists and community leaders Gord Hill, Carol Martin, Arthur Manuel and Billy Thiere discussed the impacts of the Olympics on indigenous of Turtle Island and the ongoing programs of colonization and genocide against the indigenous of this land by the government of Canada.
