Some computer scientists are now suggesting that those little radio frequency ID chips used for tracking inventory can actually transmit computer viruses.  How risky is this as we enter an era where our micro computers can talk to each other?  And, what if we all start getting ID tags under our skin, the way our pets do now?  Could I get a computer virus in my finger?

The French parliament has just passed draft legislation to force Apple (and other mp3 player manufacturers) to require music downloads to be playable on any player: ie iTunes will have to be playable on an iPod or, say, an iRiver.  Ruining the market or fair limit on media oligopoly?
