Since the beginning, Judy has maintained that murderous female action heroes like the Bride in Kill Bill go against feminist values by portraying a “male” image of power. Now she admits that there are certain women who attach a sort of human feeling to their aggression, and in her opinion these are the more empowering types of female action heroes. Cathi has accepted that she can’t change Judy’s mind, but she still tries to convince us that there’s no “right” way for women to kill.
