Judy Rebick is back with some new thoughts as the debate continues over whether or not violent women in films are empowering. Cathi likened characters like the Bride in Kill Bill to the powerful ‘femme fatale’ figures in movies of the 30s and 40s. In her opinion, it’s exciting to see a woman on screen take control.
