A new documentary titled Africa Rising exposes the ground level work, spearheaded by local women, to end FGM in Africa.  Ellie Gordon-Moershel interviews Taina Bien-Aime of Equality Now about the complexities of the practices and a promising future which may see the end of this age old form of violent gender discrimination.
